Meet Mary
Mary is the owner, and was inspired to open this shop from her grandmother, Nona Ruth. Mary and her husband, Scott, share three daughters; Caroline, Mary Lawrence, and Kylan. She loves getting to meet new people and build lasting relationships with her customers!
Mary spends her time outside of the shop by being "Emme" to her beautiful granddaughters. She also has two English Bulldogs, Sundae & Monday, who you may see in the shop from time to time!
Meet Carlee
Carlee is a graduate of The University of Alabama where she studied Business Management & Marketing. She is over our website and online sales, social media marketing, & manages the shop! Carlee also has an eye and heart for design so she handles all of our decorating services.
When Carlee is not at the shop, she is typically spending her time with family and friends. Summer is her favorite season so you can always find her somewhere where the sun is shining!
Nona Ruth’s was inspired by the life of my (Mary) grandmother, Nona Ruth Draper Spencer, “Nonie” to her family and friends.
Nona Ruth’s life work was creating a beautiful life for her entire family. She was a wonderful cook, a creative craftsman with a flare and passion for making ALL things beautiful.
Nona Ruth loved decorating for all season and occasions. From the “snow” made with Ivory Flakes that adorned the Christmas tree branches, the handmade sequin Christmas ornaments and the iced and decorated Christmas cookies that were almost too pretty to eat. No season was neglected.
